He completed his MBBS from MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, and his MS in Surgery from Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. Dr. Gupta has been associated with GSVM Medical College and the affiliated LLLR (Hallet) Hospital for a long time, where he has served as both a Senior Resident and an Assistant Professor.

He holds several advanced qualifications, including a Diploma in Minimally Access Surgery (DipMAS), FMIS, FIAGES, and FAIS. Over the past ten years, Dr. Gupta has developed his expertise in laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgeries, effectively treating and curing various gastrointestinal diseases, including cancers and trauma. He has also trained in operative laparoscopy at AIIMS New Delhi.

Dr. Gupta is highly skilled in endoscopy and has been performing endoscopic procedures for the past decade. He has completed various endoscopy fellowships, such as EFIAGES and the Hands-On Diagnostic and Therapeutic Endoscopy course at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal.
